Update

This is the Hansinator enjoying bed rest much more than I do! haha!

BP was much better today. 130/90 sitting. Bed rest and low salt diet works. Who knew? :-) Good thing is, going back to work is such an extreme of activity that I get to stay on bed rest. Exciting times and I faxed all my paperwork in to my HR today. Oh and the sonogram looked great. Still a girl! ;-)

My showers were AWESOME and I'm still getting things in the mail. Emma's room is so beautiful because of the wonderful DIY projects my friends and family did. That makes life easy, let me tell ya!

The little brown plaque on the shelf says "You are my sunshine, My only sunshine." One of my favorite songs and I plan on singing it to Emma alll the time :-)

I haven't really done much outside of showers and doctor and bed rest lately so this will be a short post!

Ugh! Hans just came out of the bathroom chewing on my toothbrush. Ugggggggh. Time to go!

  1. Yes. That could be Herman laying in that bed if I didn't know better. He went to the vet last week and weighed in at 134. I think he is a bit small for a boy. He has filled out some but he is still pretty slender. Herman used to go in the bathroom and get in the tub and sometimes chew on my razor. Good to know Great Danes are all a little... slow. We have our days still but with the husband working so much I feel glad to have him around. Not that he would actually attack a burglar (he would just hide) but the burglar would be scared of him (let's hope). Does Hans bark at you for no reason?

  2. Your last question made me laugh out loud. He never used to bark until our house was broken into and now he barks at every little thing: someone on the sidewalk, the mailman, the UPS delivery guy. He sees them all as the same bad guys, I think. It used to make us feel better and now it's just kind of annoying. I think Hans will be small. We had him fixed at six months old so I think that stunted his growth. His mom and dad were 130-150.

Hans lovvves washcloths. Clean or dirty. I think he likes the taste of soap. lol!

  3. Oh and Hans will bark at people on the sidewalk but he is TERRIFIED of the garbage truck. He will not go outside. He cowers in the corner. It makes Tuesday mornings lots of fun
