As of yesterday at Emma's weigh in, she was back to her birth weight 5 lbs 3 oz. I couldn't believe it. I tried not feeding her right before. Some of it could have been poop on board but who cares! I'm happy and feel better. Emma took pity on her mother last night and slept from 1:30-4:00 AM. Thank you, thank you.
They measured her length yesterday, too and she was 18 1/4 inches. I had them measure twice because supposedly at birth she was 18 3/4. So the hospital got it wrong and that really sucks because I wrote that number down in her baby book. Oh well. Technically she's late preemie so on the preemie growth chart she was in the 40-50% range on all her measurements. On the full term growth chart she was < 3 % on everything except her head. lol!! But that's good. We want a big noggin for that brain!
Oh and can I PLEASE stop having the same dream over and over where I think that Emma is in the bed somewhere. I wake up stripping the blankets off the bed. Last night I took the pillow out from under Adam's head. lol! It takes me a while to really wake up and realize it was a dream. Freaks me out every time!
Sorry, none of us warned you about the "freak out" dreams new mommas have. They'll go away eventually, or at least be less frequent.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Emma's doing so well, she is cuteness!
My dream was that Kellen was being eaten by an alligator. VERY random, but it felt so REAL!
