APPARENTLY next week is Thanksgiving. (I had to use the word one more time.) I really had no idea. Halloween just happened yesterday, right? I have just had this baby on my mind way too much to even think about Thanksgiving. Luckily, mostly all I have to do is show up to the two dinners we are going to. I'm making some rolls, I think, for my mom's house. No biggy.
What's more important though, next week, is Erin and I going to see Twilight. ;-) Jusssst kidding about it being more important. It IS exciting, though! The books are good. The movies are terrible but you just can't NOT go see it.
Last time with Emma, I had planned to have my hair done and what not right before she was born. Since she was early, it never happened. So it was goal this time to have that done because I won't be going and getting my hair done for a lonnng time. Plus, people take pictures when you've had a baby and dammit, your hair should look nice, am I right? So, I went tonight after my doctor's appointment and I feel much better.
I've packed a bag and the bassinet is ready and the baby room is mostly ready. There's just a mild "honey-do" list for the hubsters and his brother this weekend and then I'll be happy with the house.
Baby's coming. Look prepared!
i talked it over with Adam and we are going to add a 2nd story to the house starting this weekend. Since we will be hanging a ceiling fan and be up on a ladder anyway...it just made sense to hit two birds with one stone. Don't worry, the roof won't have a blue tarp on it FOREVER...and it will be SO WORTH IT when we finish next July.
ReplyDeleteThe July after next, just in time for baby #3.

Woo! I got a shout out! I feel the same way though... the books are decent/addicting and the movies suck. Plus, we all know how I feel about Taylor Lautner. BUT, I'm excited to sit in a theatre with your ::about to pop:: belly and act like we're still 16. We're not that much older than that, right? .....oh wait.
